Job summary

The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) Enablement team is looking for a Partner Enablement Manager to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will lead the strategic planning of partner skills development programs for the Red Hat partner ecosystem in APAC. You'll work with our global partner enablement teams and APAC region stakeholders to define long-term strategies and short-term activities that support the development of partner sales, presales, and delivery skill competencies. You will perform analysis and strategic planning for partner readiness, program development, management, and delivery, and effective communication. Primary job responsibilities

  • Lead solutions and skills development planning for the partner roles of pre-sales, sales, and delivery; plan mid to long-term skills development strategies that is closely aligned with channel business priorities
  • Engage, influence, and build alliances with key Red Hat corporate stakeholders involved in technical and sales skills development in order to define needs and deliver appropriate plans
  • Establish clearly defined technical and business skills capability metrics and targets to ensure accountability
  • Develop and carry out short-term (fiscal year bound) plans outlining specific activities, investments, and targets aimed at improving capability and productivity across partner roles
  • Provide thought leadership through non-traditional media like mobile learning, social learning, bite-sized learning, and remote learning
  • Focus on the cost efficacy of content creation by facilitating partnerships with stakeholders in the content creation phase
  • Design, deliver and manage regional programs to enable technical skills development with partners
  • Work with presales and services managers or other relevant internal communities (e.g. partner management) to ensure the target partner roles are receiving the right training at the right time
  • Provide leadership and guidance to promote integration, collaboration, and alignment between global partner sales, pre-sales, and consulting services; facilitate excellent communication and community development

Required skills

  • Experience in guiding programs and project management for partner enablement initiatives in the region, ideally for a software, hardware, or systems integrator
  • Advanced understanding of the channel and partner ecosystem including the diverse enablement needs of the various functions like sales, presales, and delivery
  • Solid  technical expertise in enterprise technologies
  • Proven ability to work independently, navigate a complex environment, and implement flawlessly in a fast-paced environment
  • High detail orientation, with the ability to guide yourself and others to meet deadlines through influencing without authority
  • Excellent time and workload management skills; ability to prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to deliver influential messages in professional work environment with all levels of Red Hat associates; ability to communicate in Mandarin or Japanese is a plus
  • High level of cultural awareness; experience in APAC or another multicultural region
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Willingness to reside in Singapore, with 5-10% of travel
  • Ability to take morning or night conference meetings where necessary
