Job summary

The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Communications and Change Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will provide operational support and data management capabilities for the Global Data Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be contributing to our team's end-to-end management and maintenance of all offering and pricing-related data at Red Hat. As a Communications and Change Manager, you’ll need to have very high attention to detail and you’ll need to focus on the creation and maintenance of data in Oracle, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and other Red Hat’s systems.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Work with the Enterprise Data leadership team on change strategies and critical communications
  • Draft written materials, prepare presentations, and communicate with employees and managers around the world
  • Create and distribute messages, prepare presentations, and conduct meetings to share information
  • Develop and support team communication messages, tailoring them to meet the needs of multiple stakeholder teams
  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance
  • Work through many other associates in the organization to communicate changes and ensure these changes succeed
  • Measure the increased benefit realization, value creation, achievement of results, and outcomes of changes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of experience in the technology industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of Red Hat’s key business objectives
  • Experience developing business communications and change management strategies
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to achieve goals and expectations
  • Knowledge of data management and the critical role it plays in IT, operations, sales, and finance
  • Ability to collaborate with the Corporate Communications team for consistency in approaches, formats, and planning
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills; solid proofreading skills to ensure all materials are of high quality and accurate
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and to communicate with all levels in the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to quickly gain insight into business needs
  • Ability to persuade management using data and ideas
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated professional integrity
