Job summary

The Red Hat Digital Marketing Strategy team is looking for a Database Nurture Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you'll be responsible for global, automated nurture marketing programs designed to segment and address contacts where they are in their buying cycle. You will primarily help improve the overall velocity of our database and ultimately surface the highest-quality leads to the Sales team, and accelerate customer buying cycles. You'll create strategies and design campaigns to deliver relevant content and offers to these segments to help deliver qualified leads, increase engagement, and accelerate purchase timeframes. As a Database Nurture Manager, you will work closely with the email strategists and other team members to maintain alignment with best practices, Red Hat brand standards, and desired outcomes for templates and key messaging.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Align strategic recommendations for nurture pathways while grounding decisions within data
  • Own the implementation of nurture email campaigns with agency partner, including testing, deployment, reporting, and post-launch optimization plan
  • Define audience targeting and data needs for personalization, set up email campaigns and content through our marketing automation platform with the help of our agency partner
  • Take ownership of the marketing database health; ensure high delivery and engagement rates for all campaigns
  • Analyze and report on email campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends, and opportunities
  • Create and administer A/B tests with our partners that can quantify the effects of changes made to creative and content
  • Review, recommend, and implement improvements to existing content though changes to copy, design, and targeting
  • Ensure email campaigns are designed to achieve measurable results
  • Lead efforts with our Marketing Operations team to create database dashboards to showcase funnel velocity, areas of opportunity and focus, and attributable ROI
  • Set goals for nurture programs, monitor performance, and make changes to improve results over time; report on the success of nurture programs

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of related work experience in email marketing in B2B
  • Successful track record of creating and implementing email campaigns that deliver measurable results
  • Knowledge of key email fundamentals, including compliance, deliverability, complaint rates, etc.
  • Expert level knowledge of marketing automation tools like HubSpot and Eloqua
  • Thorough knowledge of
  • Deep knowledge of A/B testing
  • Knowledge of personas and experience matching content types to buyers’ journeys
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with desire to find ways to make campaigns better
  • Current and working knowledge of HTML/CSS and email best practices
  • Project management experience
  • Collaborative, supportive mindset
  • Solid analytical skills with extensive use of marketing automation platforms
  • Highly detailed and engaged; strategic and practical
