Job summary

The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Services team is looking for a Delivery Lead to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be part business analyst, part delivery lead, and part scrum master. You’ll need to have solid agile project management experience, experience delivering projects, and very good communication skills. As a Delivery Lead, you will be in regular communication with leadership on status, risks, plans, and changes in technical strategy.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Serve as a Delivery Lead on complex projects in the enterprise services space
  • Serve as an expert on agile methodology, effectively applying it to projects and enforcing project standards and team norms
  • Provide coaching for other team members to improve their skill sets
  • Guide demos and reviews with the team and key stakeholders and users with emphasis on reviewing working code
  • Track the exact status of all projects and deliverables for the team
  • Work with the team to continuously update dates, scope, status, and documentation so that all projects are well understood by management and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the system architecture that impacts team deliverables
  • Bring excellent insight into new projects around dependencies or potential issues, impact the design of projects, and rapidly identify and resolve technical dependencies and risks
  • Promote integration standards and help communicate them to interested parties
  • Seek opportunities for continuous service improvement by actively reviewing offerings within the integration space and working with business owners and other IT teams to affect change

Required skills

  • 5+ years of service delivery experience in complex environments
  • Solid organizational, customer service, and communication skills
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team and get things done
  • Ability to organize and plan work on your own with little direction
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and switch effectively between different contexts, activities, and teams
  • Scrum master certification or ownership of an offering are a plus
