The Red Hat Public Sector Sales team is looking for a Solutions Architect to join us in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will support our State and Local Government and Education (SLED) customers. You’ll serve as a top technical expert and use your business insight to present lT leadership in SLED agencies with a compelling business case for Red Hat’s solutions. You'll discover and analyze customer business and technical needs and collaborate with the Sales and technical delivery teams to help them invest wisely in the best solutions from across the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Virtualization, and cloud solutions portfolio. As a Solutions Architect, you’ll need excellent communication skills, as you'll be a key part of the first major experience our customers have with Red Hat. We'll also need you to have a balance of technical expertise, passion for open source, and of thorough understanding of business processes and IT problems at the enterprise level.
