Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for an experienced Analyst Relations Specialist to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role you will build Red Hat’s strategy with industry analyst firms in a number of industry verticals and emerging areas. You’ll work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Corporate Communications teams to develop and carry out a strategy to positively impact Red Hat’s position among key analysts.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Build a program that creates awareness, visibility, and understanding of Red Hat’s offerings and strategy in emerging areas and key verticals
  • Identify and guide consistent interaction and engagement with key analysts to ensure analysts’ understanding and positive opinion for their research, evaluations, and recommendations to customers
  • Socialize insights based on analysts’ perceptions and research to help guide future offerings and strategic direction
  • Partner closely with PR, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Measure progress

Required skills

  • 3+ years of industry experience in marketing or communications
  • Experience working with top industry analyst firms
  • Ability to work across the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills and intellectual curiosity
  • Solid organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines; ability to prioritize and handle high-volume of detail-oriented work
  • Motivated, able to work as part of a team, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and collaborate with various teams on a daily basis
  • Solid project management, reporting, and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to contribute as part of a small, dynamic team
  • Proactive and highly responsive
  • Ability to pick up new tools and concepts quickly
