Job summary

The Red Hat Global Partners and Alliances team is looking for an Executive Assistant to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support two vice presidents (VPs); one responsible for Red Hat’s global mid-market strategy and one responsible for Red Hat’s partner and alliances global strategy and programs. You’ll serve as the key go-to person in order to optimize their focus and effectiveness, while serving as a point of contact between the VPs and the Red Hat executive and management teams, associates, key business contacts, and customers. As an Executive Assistant, you will plan and organize daily meetings, large quarterly sales management meetings, ensure a timely response to key correspondence, and serve as a project manager for key initiatives supporting the VPs as well their direct reports and corresponding goals. You'll also provide clerical support, including preparing expense reports, scheduling travel dates, and answering emails. We'll need you to have a polished and professional presentation and be able to easily garner respect and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Plan and attend regular quarterly business review (QBR) and strategic management meetings, manage the agenda setting, and maintain the action items
  • Create an annual schedule of internal meetings and plan for the year in advance (e.g., QBRs and sales meetings)
  • Plan and ensure various quarterly performance review sessions for the VPs and management team
  • Coordinate across key internal teams to help guide cross-functional initiatives, projects, and pilot programs on behalf of the teams you will support
  • Help guide team communication strategy, quarterly newsletter, and organizational updates
  • Manage and track key projects and monitor deliverables on behalf of the VPs
  • Monitor, track, and remind VPs of impending deadlines
  • Ensure relevant meetings are being noted in the system
  • Create basic business presentations from VP's ideas and notes for them to present during key partner or internal management meetings
  • Arrange QBRs with both internal and external parties and be responsible for recording the minutes
  • Ensure the calendar is managed to maximize effective use of time and to allocate time to critical areas
  • Arrange relevant conference room bookings, hospitality, etc.
  • Book all travel with schedules and supporting documents using appropriate Red Hat tools
  • Manage expense reports and purchase orders using Red Hat tools
  • Monitor Red Hat training credits for the team; ensure progress and 100% successful completion of bi-annual goals
  • Use Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other reporting tools used to report, review, and assess the global renewals business

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience or familiarity with project management
  • Executive engagement and interaction experience
  • Fluent language skills in English; solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating polished presentations in Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, OpenOffice, or a similar tool
