Job summary

Promote the interest in, awareness, and adoption of our hybrid cloud solutions. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Cloud Solutions Sales Specialist to join our Telco vertical team. In this role, you will focus on solutions including Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat CloudForms, Ansible by Red Hat automation, and OpenShift by Red Hat within our key customer accounts. You'll enable Red Hat’s customers to define, develop, and deploy their new cloud strategies. As a Cloud Solutions Sales Specialist, you will support well-established and emerging accounts in the Telco vertical. This role can be located remotely in the Eastern U.S. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Work with Red Hat teams to refine and build the overall cloud strategy for a defined set of customers
  • Guide the customers, helping them solve business issues using hybrid cloud and Red Hat technologies and services
  • Build strategic relationships with executives and business leaders to promote Red Hat's portfolio of open source solutions
  • Earn trusted advisor status by creating long-term partnerships with customers and ensuring customers are delivering measurable business results to their companies
  • Work with our sales account teams to ensure Red Hat's solutions become their first choice for hybrid cloud

Required skills

  • Background selling complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
  • 8+ years of solutions sales experience, with 4+ of those years specifically focused on enterprise virtualization
  • Prior experience with and record of success selling in the telco industry
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly with global cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
  • Complex solutions selling mindset for an environment with multiple offerings and services
  • Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills
  • Broad technical experience with enterprise virtualization and cloud solutions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
  • Master's degree or equivalent is a big plus
