Take on the challenge and help us with commercial revenue generating contracts negotiations and support in an in-house setting. The Red Hat Legal team is looking for a talented Attorney with a background in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Financing Transactions, or other complex corporate transactions to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you'll interact with management and key business clients while you provide direct support to Red Hat sales teams in structuring and closing deals, as well as defining legal strategies. You will also provide the commercial legal perspective in support of acquisitions and integrations. We’ll need you to be able to assess legal risks while applying good legal and business judgment. We’ll also expect you to have excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external business clients while addressing complex issues in an accurate, clear, and concise yet thorough manner. The legal challenges that we face are often unique, like developing and maintaining a framework for supporting a thriving business built on open source principles.
