    Job summary

    Join the Red Hat Online Partner Enablement Network (OPEN) with forward thinking vision for the future to stay ahead of the business curve. Red Hat's Global Partner and Technical Enablement (GPTE) team is looking for an experienced Partner Enablement Strategy Team Lead who is passionate about Enablement of the partner ecosystem to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will work to continuously expand and refine OPEN and related programs and resources on a global scale. You will implement and enhance the enablement strategy for our partner learners, both sales and technical. Collaborating with global channel and alliance leaders on their enablement requirements and priorities will be key for your success. You should demonstrate flexibility, acceptance of feedback, and a can-do attitude. This position can be located anywhere, although preference will be given to candidates in a timezone that can easily work with colleagues in North America.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Understand, collaborate, define, and act on the enablement strategy of the offerings from Red Hat's expanding portfolio of offerings     
    • Develop Red Hat OPEN into a premium resource for partners, beyond simply meeting core partner program requirements
    • Maintain professional standards and be able to connect the needs of the technology to the business needs of stakeholders
    • Although not a formal people-management position, perform as team lead to coordinate partner-related programs and initiatives
    • Implement and support existing programs, as well as ones yet to be defined to support the enablement on Red Hat offerings and solutions
    • Communicate regularly and effectively with global channel and alliance leadership and other stakeholders; work with them to identify and document priorities for their teams, based on product or initiative roadmaps and business needs
    • Implement quarterly strategic objectives and act to deliver key results for the partner community
    • Advocate for and ensure GPTE enablement resources like learning paths and technical competencies adequately support partners
    • Work with SMEs, content developers and other stakeholders to continuously review and assess the enablement content
    • Work with Field Partner teams to ensure that partners are provided with industry leading options to consume content

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of channel, partner, or alliance experience within the IT infrastructure space, preferably with an enterprise software or open source background; demonstrated expertise in building and improving enablement programs are a plus
    • Ability to think strategically and take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions, and measurable metrics and implement
    • Familiarity with a portion of Red Hat’s portfolio and contemporary related technical concepts (e.g., containers, microservices, hybrid cloud)
    • Solid interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills; business insight
    • Ability to foster solid relationships with key global teams is essential to understanding and supporting results for the business
    • Great written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team as well as on your own; ability to motivate project team and individual contributors and mediate conflicts
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Willingness to travel up to 30%
