    Job summary

    Work within our modified agile approach to marketing localization, making suggestions for process improvements along the way. The Red Hat Content team is looking for a Project Manager focusing on content localization to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help your team impact what content is translated and localized and connect marketing teams from around the globe. You’ll focus on the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (LATAM) regions, working with the marketing teams in EMEA and LATAM to help determine localization needs and set priorities. As a Project Manager, you will also work closely with a scrum master in Brisbane, Australia, Red Hat's dedicated reviewers in Brisbane for Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, and an agency that handles marketing translation. This position is open to internal candidates only. Outside candidates, including referrals, are not being accepted at this time.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Help local marketing teams in EMEA and LATAM consistently and simply set translation and localization need and priority across Red Hat’s marketing
    • Help dedicated reviewers access and interpret data to inform what content is translated or reviewed
    • Ensure that work is connected to marketing initiatives, themes, and regional needs and prioritized accordingly
    • Develop methods to improve project visibility (e.g., status and cost), including dashboard reporting, that limit emails
    • Introduce new ideas and processes that improve team morale, performance, and productivity
    • Work closely with UX on publishing translations
    • Coach teams on agile values and practices

    Required skills

    • Prior experience with localization, marketing content, and agile methodologies
    • Ability to collaborate confidently across an organization and the globe
    • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive
    • Willingness to work under a flexible schedule with inconsistent working hours
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Passion for technology, working the open source way, and upholding brand standards
    • Experience with a translation management system (e.g., preferably XTM) is a plus
    • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
