    Job summary

    The Red Hat Product Management team is looking for a Product Manager in Westford, MA. In this role, you will take ownership of Red Hat Single Sign-On, the authentication and authorization provider for web based applications and services in the Red Hat portfolio. You'll work with the engineering, quality, and documentation teams to deliver meaningful product advancements to our customers, and with other product teams across Red Hat to ensure secure and user friendly authorization is implemented across the entire portfolio. As a Product Manager, you'll also monitor customers, analysts, security researchers, and competitive technologies to ensure Red Hat solutions keep up with the most secure authentication and authorization practices in the industry. This role cooperates closely with the product management team for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Identity and Access Management (IAM) to ensure customer use cases can be supported across the entire Red Hat portfolio.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Responsible for the Red Hat Single Sign-On strategy, including prioritizing features and integrations, setting release dates, and maintaining the product roadmap
    • Communicate regularly with customers and Red Hat sales and consulting resources to collect feedback on the product and share product direction
    • Draft User Stories for the product development team, participate in an agile development process, and prioritize work to meet strategic Red Hat goals
    • Coordinate product development, documentation creation, marketing content, and field enablement with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) IAM team
    • Present Red Hat SSO at industry conferences and symposiums

    Required skills

    • Knowledge of IAM concepts, systems, and protocols including Identity Federation, Identity Brokering, OpenID Connect, OAuth, SAML, Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, RBAC, ABAC, UMA
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field
    • 3 years of enterprise software product management experience
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • 10-15% travel required for planning meetings, customer engagements, conferences
    • Experience with open source technologies and business models is a plus
