    Job summary

    Red Hat's Finance team is looking for a flexible Global Process Owner to join the Global Accounting team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will ensure through your leadership and capabilities that our order-to-cash process delivers expected business and customer outcomes. You'll need to have deep passion for and experience with continuously improving and innovating processes, as well as enabling automation to meet growing business and customer needs while optimizing productivity. As a Global Process Owner, you'll also need to have demonstrated ability to lead and develop others and to persuade key stakeholders. You'll need to be a results-driven person who is a good motivator able to clearly translate vision, strategy, and business objectives into compelling plans that enable effective implementation.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop, standardize, and optimize policies, processes, procedures, and business controls to deliver expected value; eliminate waste
    • Benchmark and apply industry and internal best practices
    • Ensure compliance with relevant business policies and controls
    • Integrate order-to-cash processes with upstream and downstream processes, optimizing end-to-end
    • Provide functional oversight for order-to-cash service delivery to defined standards and high-quality outcomes
    • Expertly guide continuous improvement and innovation by leading, facilitating, teaching, and coaching teams using situation-appropriate industry standards, approaches, methods, tools, and data for high-quality delivery
    • Define and design in-process and output metrics, scorecards, and dashboards; guide report development
    • Proficiently diagnose and identify problems and needs; define and prioritize improvements, ensuring alignment with process vision, strategy, and goals
    • Effectively diagnose team capabilities and adapt approaches to enable rapid learning, adoption, and results
    • Measure, monitor, and communicate effectiveness of improvements; provide visibility through tracking and reporting
    • Proactively communicate and overcome barriers to deliver expected outcomes
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing across the organization
    • Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, trust, and collaboration

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in a relevant field
    • Successful record as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
    • Proficient in order-to-cash operations
    • Expertise in process design and management and continuous improvement methods; demonstrated proficiency in doing, teaching, facilitating, and coaching
    • Working knowledge and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Salesforce.com (SFDC), and process automation methods and technologies; familiarity with agile methodologies
    • Solid strategic and end-to-end systems thinking and planning skills
    • Demonstrated ability in project management and change management
    • Proficiency in collaborating and managing through complexities (people, process, platforms, etc.) across diverse functions, organizations, and geographies
    • ROl-minded and highly analytical with a bias for action
    • Ability to work through ambiguous situations to articulate a clear direction
    • Skilled in overcoming resistance and barriers; ability to manage stakeholders and challenge the status quo
    • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to learn rapidly and appropriately apply new skills and technologies

    The following are considered a big plus:


    • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or equivalent certification with corresponding experience leading organizations through significant transformations
    • 1+ certification(s) with relevant experience in project management, change management, agile or scrum, or business architecture
    • Knowledge of and experience with data science, user-centered design, and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
