Guide the adoption of Red Hat's solutions in our key financial services accounts and service provider partners. Red Hat's Financial Services Industry (FSI) Consulting team is looking for a Senior Middleware Consultant to join our fast growing team. In this role, you will interact with customers, both in person and remotely, winning their trust and the confidence of their customer engineering and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions. You’ll need to have knowledge of and significant direct experience with JEE, middleware application architectures (i.e., enterprise integration, business automation, big data, and mobility), and their supporting infrastructures. You’ll also need to have solid understanding of how to use our unique middleware applications (i.e., Red Hat JBoss Middleware, Red Hat JBoss Fuse, and OpenShift by Red Hat) for implementing custom solutions. Ideally, you should have experience with DevOps, continuous integration (CI), and cloud-based development consulting projects as well. As a Senior Middleware Consultant, you will play a critical role in bringing together cross-functional teams from Red Hat's product business, product engineering, support, professional services, and sales teams to meet the needs of our most demanding customers. You’ll serve as a customer advocate with these teams, ensuring the delivery of the right solutions and that these solutions are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. This is a remote position with weekly travel to client sites and can be located anywhere in the U.S. within close proximity to an airport.
