    Job summary

    Red Hat's North America (NA) Field Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic Program Marketing Manager focusing on B2B with experience developing and implementing successful integrated marketing programs to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of integrated demand creation programs to amplify market awareness and guide pipeline for the Red Hat’s services, including Red Hat Consulting and Training teams’ offerings in NA. You’ll guide regional marketing programs for and through Red Hat Training partners and support regional marketing efforts to guide the Red Hat Academy Program enrollment within higher education institutions. You’ll build and carry out a cohesive regional field marketing plan, including target segmentation and tactics like direct touch and digital marketing, prospecting, field events, and retargeting. As a Program Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely across functional and geographic teams including Global Campaign, Channel and Alliance, and Field Marketing teams as well as agencies and media partners to deliver multi-tactic programs targeting strategic and enterprise customers and net new accounts. You’ll need to have the ability to monitor and analyze program effectiveness and to continually adjust and optimize strategy and tactics to achieve key metrics including marketing engagement and contribution to pipeline. Location is negotiable for the right candidate. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Build cohesive strategic plan to amplify market awareness and promote demand for Red Hat’s Consulting and Training Services teams in NA
    • Expand the adoption of Red Hat’s services within existing Red Hat customers through cross-sell and up-sell programs
    • Collaborate and align with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Perform within designated regional program budget
    • Ensure proper linkage of leads and opportunities to programs for accurate closed-loop reporting
    • Communicate marketing plans, program details, and performance metrics regularly to stakeholders

    Required skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline
    • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a technology field
    • Experience building and implementing effective integrated marketing programs targeting the enterprise market including Fortune 500 accounts
    • Ability to develop and implement effective, integrated marketing programs for multi-product offerings targeting the enterprise market including Fortune 500 accounts
    • Ability to work effectively and achieve consensus among geographically distributed, cross-functional teams
    • Experience working with agencies for strategic media planning and buying, campaign development, and asset creation
    • Positive attitude, initiative, and solid work ethic; creative, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Highly professional with the ability to work as part of a team with solid communication and presentation skills
    • Willingness to travel up to 20%
    • Knowledge of open source, enterprise software, cloud, virtualization, services marketing, or subscription-based sales models is a plus
    • Familiarity with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or a similar customer relationship management system and Eloqua or a similar marketing automation system is a plus
