    Job summary

    Red Hat is looking for a Senior Business Strategy Consultant to join us in Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, or Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you’ll be part of Red Hat's Corporate Strategy team having exposure at the highest levels by working directly with Red Hat business executives to define, analyze, and shape strategic direction. You will deliver creative but pragmatic solutions with analytical rigor to senior executives and work on high profile initiatives that help Red Hat deliver above-market growth.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Build strong relationships and influence with leaders in all areas of the company
    • Quickly grasp and articulate a wide range of organizational and technical concepts
    • Translate a vision or high-level problem statement into implementation

    Required skills

    • 3-5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following:
      • Top-tier consulting firm and experience in IT or related industries is preferred
      • Business strategy, corporate strategy, corporate development, or M&A, preferably within a publicly-held corporation
    • Outstanding academic credentials; MBA is a plus
    • Exceptional project management, facilitation and leadership skills.
    • Ability to easily integrate in a collaborative team environment.
    • Robust executive-level presentation skills including storyboarding, development and delivery
    • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to interface well with individuals of varying levels and backgrounds
