    Job summary

    The Red Hat Enterprise Applications team within the Information Technology (IT) team is looking for a Financial Application Administrator to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will serve as a system owner for Anaplan and assist with Hyperion tasks. You’ll be responsible for Anaplan administration, configuration, data loads, user training and system support. You’ll also be responsible for supporting master data management along with Financial Close Management and Account Reconciliation Management (ARM) for Hyperion. As a Financial Application Administrator, you'll need to have a background in finance and a proven ability to understand complex financial problems and provide solutions that are sound. You'll also need to have great communication skills and a global focus, as the core set of your responsibilities will be global by nature.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain new Anaplan applications, models, and process flows
    • Ensure that production environment stability and performance are up to par and meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
    • Administer user provisioning for all modules in Anaplan, including license management
    • Update Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) mappings and master data management in Hyperion
    • Load and reconcile data monthly (GL, HR, Fx, and Subledger) to Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and ARM
    • Administer Hyperion Financial Close Management templates, schedules, and tasks
    • Administer Hyperion ARM profiles, profile segments, reconciliations, and assignments
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures, including internal controls
    • Provide timely response and resolution of production questions, issues, and defects using a ticket monitoring system
    • Maintain other functional administrator and user documentation and checklists
    • Work with the Hyperion System Administrator and IT team for operating system and Hyperion patch testing
    • Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and Anaplan suite features and functionalities
    • Proactively build working relationships with the Hyperion and Anaplan users to deliver, maintain, and enhance application functionality
    • Evangelize best practice use of Hyperion and Anaplan for scalable deployments
    • Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects
    • Facilitate business end-user training and Help Desk training as needed

    Required skills

    • Finance and accounting background; deep functional understanding of budgeting and forecasting
    • 2+ years of experience with Anaplan as an administrator or 1-3 years of experience with Hyperion as an administrator (version 11.1.2.4 is preferred)
    • 1-3 years experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Oracle EBS
    • Understanding of Anaplan or Hyperion integrations, development, configuration, and management
    • Solid understanding of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office offerings including Excel and SmartView
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or computer science
    • Curiosity, solid initiative, and ability to work in a self-directed environment
    • Organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
    • Good analytic and debugging skills
    • Experience creating functional and technical documentation (e.g., Word, Visio, or PowerPoint)
    • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design
