    Job summary

    The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for a Learning Management System Administrator to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support the Global Partner Technical Enablement (GPTE) team in the day-to-day administration of the LMS platform (Seertech LMS), providing consistency in data input, learning records, historical training data, and e-learning deployment. You’ll support the configuration, testing, and deployment of e-learning content and address Tier 2 and Tier 3 support cases. As a Learning Management System Administrator, you will also manage rosters, create day-to-day learning reports, and resolve user issues. You’ll need to have attention to detail, ability to handle multiple priorities, and highly developed organizational skills, as well as professional demeanor, the ability to promote a team environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Support day-to-day administration of Seertech LMS through the creation and scheduling of new courses and classes, roster management, and e-learning content testing
    • Develop custom and ad hoc reports to support global business teams
    • Support LMS product owners with testing and deployment of new functionalities, provide input on the future direction and system design
    • Identify, research, and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 user questions and system issues through trouble ticket tracking system
    • Assist with system audits to ensure data integrity across multiple sales training support systems
    • Monitor upstream and downstream system API integrations

    Required skills

    • 2-5 years of experience working with LMSs
    • Experience working with and the quality assurance (QA) testing of e-learning content
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office-like suites, specifically Excel
    • Experience with process documentation and contributing to system knowledge base repositories
    • Ability to work on your own and manage multiple tasks to a set delivery date
    • Good teamwork, communication skills, and customer-centric approach
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to track work progress
    • Proficiency working in ticket-based workflow systems
    • Experience working with remote teams and with the use of virtual conference tools


    The following are considered a plus:

     

    • 5 years of experience working as an LMS administrator; Seertech experience is a plus
    • Experience working with relational databases and advanced reporting; knowledge of SQL
    • Background in e-learning development tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate, and Storyline
    • Knowledge of SCORM 1.2, 2004 and AICC tracking standards; ability to troubleshoot course issues
    • Highly proficient in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools; experience with advanced formulas and functions (vlookups, Pivot tables, macros, etc.)
    • Ability to coordinate work between multiple teams in a global setting
    • Understand of agile methodology and Kanban tools (Trello)
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com (SFDC)
