    Job summary

    The Red Hat Online Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. You will report to the Director of Digital Marketing Strategy team. In this role, you’ll work under general direction of the Director of Digital Marketing Strategy who oversees Digital Strategy for Red Hat to deliver results based on business goals. You will interact with internal and external client teams across all digital disciplines including creative, development , technology, and media. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for defining scope and mapping back to business goals, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating digital strategy work across media (paid and organic), creative design, and funnel velocity. The role will require a holistic thinking skills to understand how the inbound funnel works, from turning unknown to known contacts to qualified prospects and sales-ready leads. You will be the key facilitator of the group’s incoming work requests from internal stakeholders.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Define, scope, and initiate incoming work, set priorities, and align cross-functional work to performance goals
    • Coordinate digital strategy for assigned business units and campaign teams
    • Develop low fidelity wireframes of digital solutions for team
    • Own end-to-end accountability of digital solutions and performance for that area of the business
    • Lead a dedicated work team to deliver solutions for their business customers
    • Facilitate external communication and meetings with key stakeholders
    • Ensure departmental work is implemented in a manner that is measurable and able to be consumed, understood, and regionalized (via Marketing Enablement)
    • Facilitate quarterly reporting of group achievements with support of internal managers and marketing enablement team

    Required skills

    • 8+ years of digital marketing experience in either content, social media, digital media, or digital strategy
    • Experience developing digital creative briefs, business requirements, and strategic frameworks for programs, campaigns, messaging
    • Solid strategic thinking ability with understanding how to connect the dots
    • Exceptional listener and problem solver; bias for action, with the ability to solve through doing not scoping
    • Excellent project management skills, especially in a fast-paced cross-functional environment with multiple projects and priorities that change frequently
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; great presentation skills
    • Demonstrated experience with marketing metrics and optimization of performance marketing mix including content, social, digital ads, SEO  
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on process efficiency
    • Ability to push back, as well as stand up for your own opinion when needed
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
    • Media planning or account planning background is preferred
    • Experience in B2B IT/Technology marketing is a plus
