    Job summary

    The Red Hat Customer Platform team is looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic Program Manager in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you’ll work across teams and lead large efforts to success. You will focus on various facets of content publication and findability on Red Hat's award winning Customer Portal. You'll assume a leadership role on long running and impactful initiatives, working with stakeholders, development teams and subject matter experts.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and socialize a strategic vision for content publication and findability
    • Create and maintain product road maps or objectives and key results (OKRs) that track evolving high level goals, ensuring the teams involved are engaged in their mission to navigate them
    • Operate in an inclusive meritocracy to solve problems effectively and efficiently

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience delivering technical programs in a fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with cross-functional technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant business or technical discipline; master’s degree is preferred
    • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience building and implementing complex communication plans
    • Familiarity with Agile practices and ability to balance engineering agility with longer term stakeholder planning needs
    • Experience in a global high-technology company, preferably within the enterprise software industry; clear understanding of the customer life cycle within the high-tech industry
    • Desire to work in an open organization; open source participation is a plus
    • Some experience with Linux and open source software technologies is preferred
    • Familiarity with Knowledge-Centered Support is an advantage
