    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking a Channel Sales Program Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. For this role, you should have a track record of successfully delivering channel targeted programs and strategies to the partner community. Your role will be essential to the core channel strategy and have a broad charter. You should have significant experience in working with business partners in a North America role across multiple elements of the channel go to market plan.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Guide program field alignment and advancement across strategic channel programs
    • Build and deploy partner specific certified partner programs through distribution
    • Develop requirements and plans for future programs
    • Leverage third-party resources to create, develop, and deliver channel ready programs and content
    • Contain and resolve program issues, escalate when appropriate
    • Understand requirements and meet the expectations of program stakeholders
    • Monitor progress to ensure program objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and business results are realized
    • Act as a leader within the company

    Required skills

    • 10+ years of experience in delivering successful global channel programs
    • Solid cross-functional program management experience with the ability to influence teams without formal authority
    • Channel sales and marketing experience, preferably software related
    • Experience in working with channel managers and field sales teams will be important to the success
    • Outstanding internal and external written communication skills
    • Solid planning and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to apply these skills with business acumen to complex situations with competing priorities
    • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business leaders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet expectations
    • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
