    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Partner and Technical Enablement team is looking for an Enablement Senior Solutions Architect with focus on DevOps and containers to join us in Raleigh, NC, or remotely anywhere in the North America (NA). In this role, you will provide technical enablement and support to partners and Red Hat’s associates, both solutions architects and consultants, using Red Hat DevOps and containers technologies. You'll use your deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation, and related technologies to create enablement content, including practical labs, and deliver it to both partners and Red Hat’s associates. You’ll provide technical expertise to partner alliance management associates and partners through sales presentations and demonstrations of our offerings, proofs of concepts, online and in-person training, etc. You'll also assist partners and internal associates in assessing potential application of Red Hat’s solutions to meet customer needs. As an Enablement Senior Solutions Architect, you may assist partners in building out Red Hat container management infrastructure in a partner lab environment to demonstrate the feasibility of using Red Hat’s cloud technologies for our partners’ customers.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop training content, including practical labs, for both online and in-person delivery
    • Deliver training for our offerings through instructor-led and online classes
    • Provide technical consulting, assistance, and enablement to Red Hat’s partners on Red Hat OpenShift and related application development technologies
    • Develop other enablement materials like demos and reference architectures
    • Give presentations to partners on Red Hat’s container and application development technologies through webinars, partner conferences, and in-person sessions
    • Assist partners with proofs of concepts involving Red Hat’s cloud solutions
    • Help escalate and resolve partner technical support issues when necessary

    Required skills

    • 10+ years of IT industry experience
    • 2+ years of experience with Linux containers and container orchestration, platform automation using Red Hat Ansible Automation, Puppet, or equivalent, and as an instructor for relevant IT technologies
    • Courseware development experience for relevant IT technologies
    • Knowledge of application development languages and frameworks like Java, Node.js, Spring Boot, or similar
    • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification, or equivalent combination of skills and experience
    • Knowledge of DevOps and agile methodologies, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD), Jenkins, testing frameworks, and similar
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and partner with others to provide the best solutions for Red Hat’s partners
    • Knowledgeable and able to hold conversations about open source technologies and industry trends relating to open source and cloud marketplaces
    • Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, relationship building, and organizational skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
    • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%
    • Ability to work in a remote office environment
