    Job summary

    The Global Services Marketing team is looking for a Training and Certification Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and deriving demand generation programs. You’ll be responsible for managing and carrying out demand generation programs for global the Training and Certification team. You'll interact with the business leadership, regional business leadership, partner and channel enablement, Red Hat Curriculum, and Red Hat Certification teams, marketing program managers, and regional demand and field marketing teams to build demand generation programs that maximize lead output. As a Training and Certification Marketing Manager, you will analyze program results and make recommendations for subsequent quarters and fiscal years. You’ll need to be able to understand the value of the subscription business model to promote the adoption of training through both direct and channel sales.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop strategies and programs to increase demand and generate leads for the Training and Certification team
    • Work cross-functionally across marketing program managers to develop program-specific demand creation campaigns
    • Work with corporate campaign and demand program teams to maximize awareness of and value proposition for the Training and Certification team
    • Work with field and channel enablement managers to promote demand for services
    • Work with global and regional marketing leads to ensure that all programs are created and logged correctly within Red Hat’s automation platform (Eloqua) and customer relationship management (CRM) platform (Salesforce.com - SFDC)
    • Work with marketing operations and sales operations to ensure that processes are working as intended for lead flows within global and regional training marketing programs
    • Analyze data from programs and give feedback to stakeholders around the efficacy of programs and any recommended updates or changes based on analysis
    • Work with business leaders in the Training and Certification team to give meaningful reporting around the demand generation programs that the marketing team is creating
    • Work with sales managers and data analysts across teams to ensure that the sales teams are receiving leads as expected and that there is adequate follow up by sales through the lead life cycle
    • Streamline programs with the web team to maximize eCommerce sales of training courses and exams
    • Determine how to measure program performance and develop best practices for being more effective and prioritizing the budget

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technical discipline; MBA is a plus
    • Marketing automation experience in Eloqua, Marketo, or similar platforms
    • Experience managing programs using SFDC
    • Experienced in demand generation programs in a B2B and B2C settings
    • 8-10 years of experience in the IT industry
    • Experience creating marketing programs in the IT industry
    • Global marketing experience working with teams worldwide
    • Ability to analyze results and make adjustments based on data
