    Job summary

    The Red Hat Certified Technology Ecosystem team is looking for an exceptional and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will help us build community and membership scale for Red Hat Partner Connect, the world's largest open commercial technology partner ecosystem. You'll work to develop and carry out an effective inbound and outbound digital marketing plan for the purpose of targeting and recruiting technology companies to join the program and engage with our offerings and to generate awareness with our customer base for our certified partner applications. You'll be responsible for the management, measurement, and implementation of digital marketing for our partner acquisition nurture programs, working to carry out plans, test, and iterate based on performance metrics. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will employ a heavy bias towards automation, always looking for ways to achieve optimal partner experience and internal efficiencies in a scalable way. You’ll need to have a record of success in implementing global nurture email marketing programs and leading day-to-day management of email operations, including project management, build, quality assurance (QA), deployment, and reporting. You’ll also need to have experience in a high-performance digital marketing automation team, guiding targeting and customer or partner segmentation for digital campaigns and setting and applying email and digital marketing best practices to determine new opportunities that will improve the partner experience. You will engage with internal Red Hat’s cross-company marketing stakeholders, including our corporate and product teams, while being acutely tuned to industry and competitor trends and supporting our overall marketing plans both for and with our technology partners.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Implement the inbound and outbound digital marketing strategy, including content marketing, social marketing, retargeting, SEO, and PPC
    • Lead contact for digital marketing agency 
    • Guide and make recommendations regarding how to most effectively engage partners within digital channels, e.g., cadence, frequency, etc.
    • Report on acquisition metrics and define gaps and opportunities
    • Lead the day-to-day management of email operations, including project management, build, QA, deployment, and reporting
    • Build solid relationships across the ecosystem team to ensure achievement of business objectives; look for opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
    • Apply email and digital marketing best practices to determine new opportunities that will improve customer experience
    • Assist in the development of campaign strategies and plans
    • Apply automation to improve processes and productivity; make recommendations to support an organization growing at a rapid pace
    • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in email marketing
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to carry out email marketing from concept to development
    • Manage the maintenance of a library of assets and campaigns, including asset hierarchy, asset management, etc.

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing or marketing operations with a heavy focus on email or database marketing
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Understanding and knowledge of email and digital channel best practices, innovation, and technologies
    • Proven experience working with industry tools and analytics packages, including email, web analytics, customer relationship management (CRM), and marketing automation platforms, e.g., Marketo, Eloqua (preferred), and Salesforce Cloud


    The following are considered a plus:

     

    • Experience with B2B, high-tech offerings, and services
    • Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and inform decisions
    • Proven experience building test and learning plans that continuously improve program engagement
    • Passion to continually learn and expand practical technical skills
    • Eloqua-certified expert
    • Velocity script, HTML, and CSS coding experience
    • Demonstrated ability to find ways to increase operational efficiency
    • Highly collaborative with experience working cross-functionally and gathering requirements across business teams
    • Expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects; great attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to work on your own
