    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Sales Operations team to support global partners and alliances team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will become part of a strategic team delivering high value to partner-facing sales teams. You'll be a key member of the team, providing support and structure to the partner sales teams by improving processes. In addition, you’ll be responsible for creating and leading the adoption of operational planning processes that have enterprise-wide impacts. You’ll work with regional and global teams to examine the current state of affairs, identify options for improvement, and guide the regional operations teams on changes required in order to gain adoption and the desired future state. As a Program Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to increase strategic and long-term program practices in partnership with the partner and corporate teams and executive leadership. Reporting into Senior Director of Global Partners and Alliances, you’ll have the privilege of working closely with global channel sales teams, including leadership, to create the best solutions for channel programs.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Manage key sales operations; lead channel Initiatives
    • Clarify and create channel program guidelines for all partners
    • Provide communication and training focused on new programs and processes
    • Partner with business finance teams for reporting and fiscal year planning
    • Structure the global MDF and rebate processes
    • Support onboarding of new global partners
    • Manage pricing and discounting structure of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and refine the worldwide claiming process
    • Create a consistent system and crediting process between global and regional P&A leaders
    • Track and refine system integrator (SI) business
    • Create globally consistent rules and policies for the certified cloud service provider (CCSP) program

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience in operations or channel and partner sales; experience working in Red Hat is a plus
    • Outstanding project or program management skills and experience
    • Master of Business Administration degree
    • Experience with strategic or operational planning is a plus
    • Passion for improving and refining the overall operating model for the Red Hat Global Partner and Alliances team
    • Experience working with or providing support to multiple partner bases and routes to market
    • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
    • Ability to define and build operationally scalable program plans
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills focused on clear and concise recommendations
    • Diplomatic skills when working with peers and when guiding program changes
