    Job summary

    The Cloud Platforms Business Unit Alliance team is looking for an Intern for the summer of 2020 to join us in Sunnyvale, CA. We are in a highly competitive market space with technology and trends that are changing daily. As an Intern at Red Hat, you will do various research pieces on the market and competitors, along with some “basic” partnering activities to assist Red Hat in maintaining our market leadership.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Open source community development; help promote Red Hat OpenShift and other Red Hat technologies
    • Outreach to potential and disengaged community members; conduct a survey for various communities, including OpenShift Commons, OKD, Red Hat Quay, Operators, and OpenStack, to see how to best get these companies re-engaged with Red Hat
    • Assist the Business team in various events like OpenShift Commons; help with recruitment, logistics, speaker engagements, etc.

    Required skills

    • Ability to work full-time hours during the summer of 2020 in the location listed (Sunnyvale, CA)
    • General documents, slide deck, and spreadsheet skills
    • Knowledge of web design is a plus
