    Job summary

    The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Intern (D+I) to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will get involved in contributing to Red Hat's culture through your summer experience. You’ll get a couple of project opportunities to work directly on and bring to life to over the course of your internship. Come join us in building a diverse, inclusive meritocracy.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Support Program team aligned to D+I strategy and efforts; complete projects designed to promote adoption of inclusive behaviors at Red Hat
    • Understand challenges and needs of stakeholder audiences for effective communication and adoption
    • Use comprehensive research of business requirements and HR industry and trends to inform activities
    • Assist in integrating disparate talent efforts, initiatives, data, and communication and bring programs and activities to life in a meaningful way
    • Partner with the Employment Branding and Experience (EB+E) and Communications and Change Management teams to develop core positioning and messaging for program offerings

    Required skills

    • Ability to work full time hours during summer 2020 in the location listed
    • Currently pursuing an HR or business degree or related coursework
    • Interest in fast-paced talent management, talent acquisition, or learning and development
    • Ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders and team members
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage many competing priorities and deadlines
    • Excellent team orientation; highly collaborative
