    Job summary

    The North America (NA) Field Marketing Strategy Insights and Operations team is looking for a Field Marketing Operations Specialist Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support the Strategy, Insights, and Operations (SI&O) team. You’ll work closely with cross-functional marketing teams like Marketing Operations and Digital Activation.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Create and track Salesforce.com (SFDC) offer and tactic IDs to ensure closed-loop tracking of digital marketing activities and events
    • Complete contact uploads in Eloqua as needed
    • Assist with the creation of marketing email and event landing page requests from the NA Field Marketing team
    • Track and communicate status from receipt of request, through approval, to implementation
    • Assist with the initial setup of quarterly content syndication programs via Integrate
    • Assist the Marketing Operations Manager in implementing end-to-end marketing campaigns to grow audience acquisition revenue and retention across NA events
    • Analyze campaign metrics, report on KPIs, and present optimization recommendations to the SI&O marketing team
    • Gain an understanding of campaigns to identify new opportunities and develop campaign test plans to improve performance

    Required skills

    • Ability to work full-time hours during summer 2020 in the location listed
    • Bachelor's degree course work in marketing, communications, or a related field
    • Experience supporting or implementing lead generation tactics like content syndication, direct marketing, and digital marketing
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
    • Basic understanding of project management fundamentals (no certifications required)
    • Code email templates in HTML and adjust CSS styling; experience with tools like Dreamweaver is a plus
    • Experience with Google Drive components like Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc., and standard productivity tools
    • Solid writing, communication, and organizational skills
    • Marketing automation experience with Marketo, HubSpot, or Eloqua is a plus
