The Red Hat Open Innovation Labs (Labs) team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to join us. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic and diverse global team that solves big problems for our customers, partners, and communities using the power of open source. You’ll work with some of the industry's newest technologies around containers and industry-leading enterprise open source solutions, including Red Hat Ansible Automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, software-defined networking (SDN) and traditional networking equipment, core servers and virtualization, operating systems, and Red Hat OpenStack Platform. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will help us apply all of these technologies to all major public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure, as well as our own internal private cloud. You’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the push-button infrastructure of our Labs. You’ll code and automate the traditional roles of a system administrator at scale. You will also consult with customers to teach them the art and science of site reliability engineering (SRE) to help them build great new teams and software. You’ll enable a wider open source community to contribute to the further development of our push-button infrastructure. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
