    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Transformation and Operations team is looking for a Global Transformation and Operations Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of standard frameworks and methodologies to promote process excellence, contribute to a community of business process professionals at Red Hat, and provide support of process improvement initiatives.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Work with the the Process Excellence Senior program manager to identify opportunities to standardize process tools and methodologies
    • Facilitate the creation and adoption of process excellence frameworks, tools, and best practices
    • Contribute to the growth of a community of practice (CoP) to support the use of business process management practices at Red Hat
    • Work with business partners to understand and articulate impacts driven by cross-functional initiatives

    Required skills

    • Ability to work full-time hours during summer 2020 in the location listed
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work to achieve goals and expectations
    • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies or industrial engineering principles
    • Ability to collaborate with and influence business partners to align on best practices and frameworks
    • Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills
    • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and to communicate with all levels in the organization
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Positive attitude and demonstrated professional integrity
