    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Demand Center is looking for an MBA candidate in a quantitative discipline to join us as a Marketing MBA Intern in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help build a campaign simulation model during the summer internship. You’ll need to have data-modelling experience and excellent communication skills.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Understand various data sources like Salesforce.com (SFDC), Eloqua, etc. and data types captured for marketing campaigns 
    • Fully understand the structure and contents of marketing campaigns data and associated metadata
    • Cleanse the campaign data captured in different regions
    • Run descriptive and inferential statistics on campaign analytics data
    • Implement various data analysis functions like selects, frequencies, and cross-tabs in statistical software, e.g., R or Python
    • Simulate campaign outcomes by modeling the cleansed campaign data
    • Identify new sources of data and methods to enhance data analysis as necessary
    • Use simulated outcomes to build visualizations preferably in Tableau, that could be consumed by the field marketing teams across the globe

    Required skills

    • Master’s degree candidate in a quantitative discipline including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or computer science concentrations
    • 2-3 years of experience working in a data-modeling environment
    • Direct experience with SPSS, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, or other analytics software
    • Proficiency with Google Suite of productivity applications including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
