    Job summary

    The Global Sales Operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Business Analyst to join the team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the creation and completion of strategic initiatives intended to align the data, reporting, and analytics strategy for the Global Sales team. You’ll be crucial to the success of streamlining the operational dashboards and analytical insights provided to Sales. As a Sales Operations Business Analyst, you will step into a unique role that will allow you to define and build the roadmap for improving data visibility and data quality to the Sales team.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver an aligned global strategy for sales reporting and analytics; use existing analytical and dashboard platforms to provide insights and automation to existing data challenges
    • Structure and guide analysis and conduct primary research to uncover insights
    • Build a linkage between planning, segmentation, and territory management to provide automation in the movement of data across these processes
    • Use the Global Sales communities to guide alignment in strategics for data management, reporting, and analytics with a focus on consistent implementation of the strategy
    • Develop analyses and presentations for leadership that contain insightful and actionable intelligence
    • Partner across teams to support key global initiatives like guiding segmentation-based go-to-market planning, planning initiatives designed to promote growth, and other initiatives within the Field Sales team
    • Deliver a persona-based reporting and analytics strategy for the Sales team by gathering and documenting the global requirements; gain alignment on the priorities and carry out a plan to deliver insights
    • Build cross-functional relationships to gain alignment from peers, leaders, and stakeholders in the implementation of key strategic programs
    • Simultaneously manage multiple business projects from inception to delivery, across diverse geographic locations with coordination of resources, tasks, and deliverables
    • Communicate with global and regional project leaders to align timelines and tasks
    • Own the coordination and accountability of key Sales processes with key stakeholders in Sales, Operations, Finance, Services, and IT teams

    Required skills

    • Excellent data, analytical, and modeling skills
    • Experience working in the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform
    • 5+ years of industry experience in a sales operations, analytical role, or management consulting role
    • Solid understanding of business processes and the needs of a sales organization
    • 3+ years of project or program management experience
    • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with customers, stakeholders, and team members
    • Proven ability to deliver projects successfully
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to organize and manage assigned responsibilities with limited supervision
    • Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams, deliver information to senior leadership, and keep project plans on time and on budget
    • Deep financial and operational understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue and subscription business models
    • Tableau experience and understanding is a big plus
