Associate Manager, Data Information

The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for an Associate Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will lead the design and support of all customer operations processes, including internal consulting, management planning, and daily customer data operations. You'll be responsible for high-value work like business process analysis and administrative work for customer data teams. As an Associate Manager, you will define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, secure, and reliable, as well as identify areas for data quality improvements and help resolve data quality problems.

• Manage key dashboards to provide state-of-the-data reporting as related to customer, partner, product and pricing, and transaction data domains
• Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership, and compliance with procedures
• Analyze data trends and recommend actions for new or improved processes related to data management
• Serve as a trusted advisor on proven industry best practices related to data cleansing and management and provide guidance and support to regional customer data teams
• Provide data analysis, business intelligence, and trend analysis to product owners and business analysts for projects and large enhancements
• Partner with other teams within Red Hat to collaborate on issues and address data quality improvement opportunities
• Manage, improve, and leverage the relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and professional organizations to improve internal data quality
• Promote and publish advances in data cleanliness, including program definition, project status reports, and periodic communications
• Identify key business readiness considerations, activities and deliverables in order to adopt changes resulting from business process or system improvements
• Monitor activities of other team members and provide experienced guidance related to best practices, communication styles, and professional growth opportunities
• Manage workload and resource balancing as related to activities of direct reports

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in business administration, computer science, or a related field and 5 years of experience working in the job offered or in a related role
• Prior experience must include 5 years of experience with master data management (MDM); customer and partner data management in customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Oracle; data transport methods, including ETL, ESB, and API; working with finance, legal, marketing, operations, and sales functions; working with regional teams in growing countries like China, India, Brazil, and Columbia; working in a global and multicultural work environment; Dun and Bradstreet firmographic data sources; presenting data analytics and process information to management and front-line associates, including experience presenting via virtual (video conferencing) methods; business process improvements, including experience with investigation, analysis, resolution, and implementation of fixes for process and data issues; evaluating large (i.e., 1 million records) data sets for quality dimensions; working with internal associates outside of immediate team structure and persuading and managing stakeholders for buy-in of critical project deliverables
• Prior experience must include 4 years of experience with Oracle Customer Data Hub system and Trading Community Architecture
• Prior experience must include 3 years of experience with transactional and analytical data quality systems
• Willingness to conduct teleconference and video calls between the hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST as needed
