    Job summary

    The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Applications team is looking for a Financial Systems Administrator with a background in financial planning and analysis or accounting to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for Hyperion administration, data loads, user training, system support, and enhancements of the Hyperion toolset. You will also provide backup application administration for the Anaplan application. You'll need to have a high attention to detail and a proven ability to understand complex financial problems. You'll also need great communication skills and a global focus, as the core set of responsibilities are global by nature.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Load and reconcile data monthly to Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and ARM
    • Administer financial close management templates, schedules, and tasks
    • Administer account reconciliation manager profiles, profile segments, reconciliations, and assignments
    • Update FDMEE mappings and master data management (MDM), including dimension members and hierarchies
    • Consolidate Excel files, perform validations on them, and upload them to Hyperion
    • Back up application administration to Anaplan, including security and code pushes
    • Maintain other functional administrator and user documentation and checklists
    • Serve as a Hyperion data subject matter expert; manage data integrity
    • Proactively build working relationships with the Hyperion and Anaplan users to deliver, maintain, and enhance application functionality
    • Ensure that production environment stability and performance are up to par and meet service-level agreement (SLA) agreements
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures including internal controls
    • Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects
    • Work with the Hyperion System Administrator and IT for operating system and Hyperion patch testing

    Required skills

    • Finance and accounting background; deep functional understanding of budgeting and forecasting
    • 2+ years of experience with an enterprise performance management (EPM) application as a power user or administrator; Hyperion or Anaplan are a plus
    • 1-3 years experience with Oracle EBS or other major enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
    • Solid understanding of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office offerings including Excel and SmartView
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or computer science
    • Curiosity, solid initiative, and ability to work in a self-directed environment
    • Organization and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
    • Good analytic and debugging skills
