    Job summary

    The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an experienced talent acquisition (TA) leader to join us as a Manager of our well-established and growing technology recruiting team in Westford and Boston, MA and Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will report to the Head of Americas TA. You’ll be responsible for leading a recruiting team focused on hiring key talent for Red Hat across North America (NA). You will effectively manage a team currently consisting of 6-8 senior recruiters hiring across Red Hat’s Product and Technologies (PnT) team, including functional areas like engineering, quality engineering (QE), user experience (UX), technical project management, technical support, product management, product marketing, and the CTO office. You’ll focus on operational excellence, stakeholder management, and ensuring a great candidate experience following our Right for Red Hat assessment and interview process. As a Manager, you will also serve as the day-to-day global point of contact for senior PnT executives based in our Westford office. You’ll serve as a solid business partner providing global insights, strategy, planning, and reporting related to overall PnT global hiring while building a solid partnership with the regional TA PnT dedicated team and cross-functional HR partners. Based in Red Hat’s Westford or Boston office, you will be a member of both the Americas and Global Talent Acquisition Leadership teams.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Manage and further build a team of internal advisors to hiring managers responsible from the opening of a position requisition through candidate onboarding
    • Regularly monitor and align on hiring plans on a regular basis to match the business environment at Red Hat
    • Serve as a solid partner to our PnT team, bringing expertise in technical recruiting and relevant market knowledge
    • Develop and promote continuous productivity improvements to interviewing, offer, and onboarding processes
    • Expertly manage communication and cooperation among individuals and groups including conflict resolution, diversity awareness, and teamwork

    Required skills

    • 12+ years of experience working in TA and 5+ years in a management role working for top-tier organizations, ideally software or tech-based
    • Excellent business insight and a broad understanding of current technical recruiting trends and strategies; open source experience is a big plus
    • Ability to think strategically and objectively while considering global implications
    • Recruiting management experience, including serving as a hiring manager with a solid TA network and reputation in the Boston area
    • Advanced consulting skills; demonstrated ability to successfully shape and motivate senior stakeholders
