    Job summary

    The Red Hat Management Business Unit (MBU) Product Marketing team is growing and we're looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will assist in the definition and implemenation of the digital marketing strategy for the MBU portfolio of offerings and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) services, including Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Insights. Using data and analytics and a working knowledge of integrated marketing tactics, you will work cross-functionally to optimize and accelerate the buyer journey, with a focus on topline revenue and increasing lifetime value (LTV) for the MBU portfolio. Carrying out an omni-channel content strategy is a critical component to this role, and you will be expected to leverage Red Hat's digital properties and products to meet the customer where they are in their buyer journey and help them accelerate their digital transformation. You will find it natural to build relationships and use data to lead and influence stakeholders and peers towards the implementation and measurement of the marketing strategy. As you will be responsible for using digital marketing to help the business unit achieve its growth and retention goals, key performance indicators (KPIs) will measure the quality and quantity of marketing-influenced leads and revenue. These include inbound leads, website and social media engagement, conversion of trial or open source users, product adoption, and subscription renewals.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Own end-to-end accountability to increase traffic, engagement, and conversion of Red Hat's MBU's digital properties, offerings, and services
    • Work closely with Red Hat's offering marketing, digital marketing, and analytics teams to ensure that online properties are updated and performing at or above industry standards
    • Define and implement a data-driven content strategy for our key audiences; build engaging written and visually appealing content working closely with our subject matter experts
    • Promote existing content through social media channels and nurture flows; repurpose content as infographics, slideshare, ebooks, videos, etc.
    • Analyze traffic and engagement scores for our web and social media properties, and implement data-driven optimization plans
    • Build single-offer landing pages and nurture flows for our online services and increase conversion rate for our paid offerings
    • Work cross-functionally to develop, test, and launch digital on-boarding experiences to improve adoption of Red Hat cloud services, including Insights, Automation Analytics, and Automation Hub.
    • Use traffic analysis to optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO); implement search engine marketing (SEM) and conversion tactics
    • Partner across business, corporate marketing, and digital demand teams to improve effectiveness of drip and nurture flow with fresh and relevant content
    • Collaborate with product management teams to ensure that marketing plans align with the directions and support offering roadmaps and releases

    Required skills

    • Background in digital marketing, digital strategy, online marketing, in-product marketing, content marketing, or in a similar field
    • 5+ years of B2B digital marketing, integrated marketing, or product marketing experience
    • Experience launching campaigns and strategies that have a demonstrable impact on targeting and influencing enterprise IT buyers, including executives, operations, architects, and developers
    • Outstanding analytical, written, and communication skills
    • Experience working effectively in a persuasion-driven, cross-functional environment with many stakeholders and content contributors
    • Understanding of the common technical jargon of the IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and the system management space
    • Working knowledge of HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and social media tools
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, media, or a similar field of study
    • Knowledge of the IT automation space and market, or infrastructure management, is a big plus - as is experience marketing open source software
    • Experience with in-product marketing tools like Pendo or WalkMe is a plus
