    Job summary

    The Red Hat Storage Marketing team is looking for a Senior Principal Program Marketing Manager to join us. In this role, you will oversee key programs, events, and initiatives that generate demand, increase revenue, deepen our understanding of customers, and build brand awareness for Red Hat Storage solutions. In addition, you'll work closely with the broader cross-functional marketing teams to create integrated campaigns, as well as enable the Field Marketing and Sales teams to develop and implement integrated marketing programs and campaigns targeting and nurturing existing and prospective direct customers. By working in close alignment with sales and marketing teams, you will foster deeper partnerships with strategic account customers that will lead to a preference for Red Hat Storage solutions through account-based marketing (ABM) programs. You’ll serve as a critical lead demand generation associate focused on both building and implementing inbound and outbound marketing campaigns through multiple marketing channels. As a Senior Principal Program Marketing Manager, you will interact with the Corporate team to gain visibility for global marketing campaigns, programs, budget, assets, and initiatives that can be adapted to the storage business team. You'll also be responsible for handling and delivering the strategy, vendors, planning, budget, event coordination, and crafting meaningful and proven working relationships with both internal and external partners for events relevant to the Red Hat Storage business. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders across the organization to plan and deliver marketing initiatives that generate demand, awareness of Red Hat Storage offerings and solutions, and overall market share
    • Analyze results, metrics, and reports to define effectiveness of program activities and campaigns, including monitoring top-of-funnel volume, funnel conversion rates, and pipeline generated for Red Hat Storage
    • Build a customer advocacy program to understand the usage patterns and decision making process for our various customer segments
    • Work with sales to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts; develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within accounts
    • Deploy ready-to-implement marketing tactics and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis using various channels including digital, events, and social media
    • Collaborate with company-wide ABM programs to create and gain consensus for cross-portfolio go-to-market plans and marketing plays in alignment with strategic product mandates and sales directives
    • Engage with field and regional marketing teams to co-create integrated marketing campaigns with agreed-upon ROI
    • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes

    Required skills

    • 10+ years of B2B program marketing experience, preferably in the technology field
    • Direct or indirect people management and tech lead experience
    • Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships at all level within an organization
    • Demonstrated ability to create and develop strategies and integrated marketing campaigns, with the ability to carry out the tactical elements of these plans, especially as they relate to ABM programs
    • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools, reporting tools and marketing automation tools
    • Solid project management, problem solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to take the initiative and deliver projects with minimal supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex information to customers
