    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Partners and Alliances Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team is looking for a Business Development Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will continue to grow and develop the ISV ecosystem with our cloud provider partners. You’ll help Red Hat offer key infrastructure and development platform technologies that enable ISV partners to deploy, go to market, and co-innovate. As a Business Development Manager, you will guide the sales, marketing, and technology strategy and objectives within key ISV accounts and create a strategic plan for engagement across the broader ecosystem. You'll also manage executive relationships internally and externally.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Build key executive relationships within the ISV accounts and Red Hat
    • Work with the product and technology teams to align ISV solutions and offerings with product objectives and strategy
    • Develop partnering strategies and business plans for key Red Hat partners
    • Work with the Marketing team to create marketing and enablement content and programs
    • Guide go-to-market and sales delivery with Red Hat’s regional sales teams
    • Define, track, and communicate key relationship metrics and milestones to senior leadership through quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
    • Build the partnership and revenue stream to establish Red Hat as a valued partner to your ISVs

    Required skills

    • 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of experience and a master’s degree
    • Deep background managing ISV partnerships and alliances
    • Experience working with or for cloud providers
    • Ability to manage partners from a variety of industries or segments and clearly communicate key market trends and associated strategies required to position Red Hat and ISV solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to lead across the larger Red Hat organization, including product, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, and support teams
    • Ability to orchestrate industry, partner, and internal teams
    • Solid understanding of the Linux market, cloud, and infrastructure software
    • Excellent delivery skills with a focus on producing results
    • High attention to detail to ensure operational efficiency and reporting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
