    Job summary

    The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Workforce Planning Program Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will play an integral part in working with the Global Employment Branding and Talent teams that bring new innovative marketing and talent experience efforts to life. You’ll be a key partner to the Program Lead of Workforce Planning and Consulting and you’ll assist in guiding the building and implementation of workforce planning at Red Hat. You’ll partner collaboratively across functions to ensure alignment and measurable improvements to multiple new and existing programs, processes, and systems. As a Workforce Planning Program Manager, you will also support the research on Talent Supply and Demand globally in support of headcount and hiring planning as well as organizational design efforts. This is a highly collaborative role requiring solid global partnership with Talent Acquisition (TA), Finance, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), and Reporting and Analytics teams.     Primary job responsibilities

    • Support the development of a workforce strategy, planning processes, and tools that support building an adaptive, agile workforce
    • Support the business by providing talent supply and demand analysis that support the development of future talent pipeline building
    • Collaborate across the People (HR) team, Finance, Strategy, and Operations leads, and business teams to assess planning needs and ensure global consistency in the implementation of planning activities
    • Develop program timelines and milestones with support from the Workforce Strategy Program Lead in connection with all other critical HR programs
    • Document processes, process maps, and governance models to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, handoffs, and outcomes
    • Provide real-time support to key stakeholders, including consulting and resources, throughout key milestones and deliverables of the process
    • Test predictive analytics and modeling to plan and provide options for functional and company growth
    • Analyze workforce data and draw insights regarding workforce themes, gaps, and focus areas in partnership with HR Analytics to provide recommendations and guide follow-up actions with TA leads, HR Business Partners, HR Managers, and Leaders
    • Support Diversity and Inclusion efforts, as needed

    Required skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study
    • 4-5 years of related work experience, preferably in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, people analytics, or
    • HR business partner activities
    • Recent experience, preferably in a fast-growing, high-tech, or software development company
    • Persuasive with the ability to work collaboratively, lead discussions, and gain the trust of leadership
    • Excellent communication, relationship building, and presentation skills
    • Experience working with teams outside of the U.S. is a plus
