The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an experienced Change Consultant to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will work within the Red Hat Change Management Practice team, an HR team focused on providing change management advisory services and support for projects across Red Hat’s corporate functions. You’ll report to a team focused on change management, project management, and communications, recognizing the importance of all elements in the successful delivery of projects. You will partner closely with associates from HR, IT, finance, and other corporate functions, advising on change elements of multiple and varying projects. Ideally, you should be able to assess a project and business scenario for change impacts, identify stakeholders and build a stakeholder management plan, develop a change plan for the duration of the project, identify organizational and behavioral dependencies and risks, and consult on more tactical communications and learning plans to support. As a Change Consultant, you should be familiar with various organizational initiatives, including process, system, and organizational changes. You’ll have responsibility for an extended portfolio of customers and projects and you’ll need to work closely with project managers and project sponsors. You’ll also need to have the ability to guide the development of the HR team’s change management approach and framework. You should be flexible to respond to various shifts that any project may require, while also having great communication and excellent relationship skills.
