    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Sales Operations team is looking for a Business Systems Program  Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will work with our Global and Regional Business teams to drive implementation of global programs that drive efficiencies in process and systems. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders across the globe to drive systems improvements and process automation. The position requires working knowledge of sales systems like customer relationship management tools (CRM) like Salesforce.com (SFDC), configure, price, and quote (CPQ), and contract life cycle management (CLM), Apttus, and renewal management.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop program and project plans for new initiatives that are driven through sales strategic objectives defined by the leadership
    • Serve as the key contact for the business to engage and lead functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather business requirements leading to automation
    • Support translations of business processes to systematic workflows that drive automation and efficiency
    • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a program or initiative
    • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications
    • Conduct business impact analysis and assess change readiness 
    • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and standardization
    • Analyze data related to business programs and systems and create basic reporting and metrics
    • Support creation and write up of sales facing documentation
    • Support with creation of enablement content for sales
    • Support with business impact analysis as it relates to change in existing system workflows or process
    • Conduct sales training and enablement
    • Support global programs for sales systems deployment 
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities across multiple business and technical teams
    • Provide administrative support to the Global Business Programs team and management of support requests

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience working as a business program or change manager with commercial experience with a vendor, reseller, or distributor in sales operations, supporting sales tools like SFDC, CPQ, BigMachines, and Apttus
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
    • Experience managing large scale complex programs globally
    • Experience with delivering change management plans and implementation of it
    • Experience working with international teams and cross functions
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to create and track metrics that demonstrate constant increases in sales productivity and efficiency
    • Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way
    • Creative thinking skills and ability to innovate
    • Ability to promote projects efficiently in a cross-functional environment by establishing respect and confidence in the business communities
    • Ability to motivate and focus people resources where there is not a direct reporting relationship
    • Good understanding of business process management
    • Knowledge of sales methods and experience delivering improvement in a sales environment
    • Experience evaluating data, working with reporting tools, and reviewing SQL is a plus
    • Program or project management and change management certifications are a plus
