    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Partner and Alliances (GPA) team is looking for a Global Partner Development Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will coordinate and lead several important frameworks as part of Red Hat’s partner program, including those around partner enablement and partner communications and solutions. You’ll work with multiple stakeholders from corporate functions to product and regional sales teams to successfully implement these frameworks.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Build and implement a global awareness plan focusing on Red Hat’s partners
    • Work with various stakeholders responsible for communications to ensure that Red Hat’s partner efforts and the benefits received through our partners are understood and used properly
    • Build out Red Hat’s enablement framework to help partners achieve success; work with the Partner Enablement team to ensure that Red Hat delivers and benefits from the partner training
    • Work directly with Red Hat’s field sales and marketing associates and Red Hat’s partners to build communication plans and create documents in support of the Communication team
    • Work with strategic partners and Red Hat’s associates responsible for these partners to help build business plans and the communication component of these plans
    • Work with the various solutions efforts to ensure that initiatives are prioritized and used properly
    • Lead planning for GPA, which will include integrating into all of Red Hat and being on the Red Hat planning council
    • Expand Red Hat’s partner services program for the future in partnership with Red Hat’s Services team
    • Coordinate and oversee deep market and competitive analysis across all partner types, regions, and customer segments
    • Create partner value proposition working with the partner marketing team

    Required skills

    • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus
    • Solid communications skills and the ability to work within a matrixed organization
    • Ability to understand technology and translate it into business value for our partners
    • 10+ years of related IT industry experience
    • Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; good presentation skills
    • Process and project planning and management skills
    • Ability to synthesize data into clear actionable statements
    • Demonstrated ability to see the big picture
    • Motivated, passionate, innovative, collaborative, and creative
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and set priorities and identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
    • Social media expertise
    • Ability to capture, articulate, and communicate customer wins through Red Hat’s partners
    • Knowledge of open source software is a plus
