    Job summary

    Implement and support sales enablement and awareness programs to achieve increased sales of Red Hat Training and Certification offerings to Red Hat’s customers through internal Red Hat sales associates. The Red Hat Global Learning Services (GLS) team is looking for an experienced sales enablement or sales development professional to join us as a Program Manager in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will achieve success through consistent, high-quality engagement with Red Hat’s presales, sales, and post-sales teams to create and deliver innovative sales enablement and awareness programs and initiatives to guide cross-selling and upselling of Red Hat’s learning offerings. You’ll have an opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of key initiatives.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop an ongoing sales training and awareness program encompassing live training sessions, product information updates, facilitation of bi-weekly calls, job aids, and other awareness activities targeted at internal Red Hat sales
    • Work with the Red Hat’s sales enablement team to fully integrate Red Hat learning into all sales conversations and solutions messaging, including key participation of GLS in annual sales kickoff meetings and inclusion in the Sales Enablement newsletter
    • Work with the customer success team to integrate Red Hat learning into all customer-facing communications on the Red Hat customer portal and in customer outreach campaigns; engage the global customer success team to guide programs and incentives for enabling customer success managers to recommend and refer sales opportunities for training to top named accounts
    • Create a cross-sell program to guide the sales of training on consulting opportunities to grow the overall attach rate, revenue per sale, and revenue per account
    • Maintain the company-facing GLS portal to provide key messaging, content, and resources for all sales associates within Red Hat; this includes content creation, updating, aggregation, and curation
    • Collaborate with peers in the Red Hat OPEN and Red Hat University (RHU) programs to leverage opportunities for promoting broader awareness of Red Hat Training and Certification offerings and to make use of assets and competencies of these teams in support of training sales
    • Support the creation and implementation of ongoing sales feedback mechanisms, including sales representative councils and participation of sales representatives in key projects, surveys, etc.
    • Participate in key sales meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and calls
    • Handle and respond to inbound inquiries and requests from internal sales as needed
    • Work on other projects as directed by manager

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of sales enablement or sales development experience; prior experience working in a support capacity with a vendor selling offerings and services in a high-tech business is a plus
    • Ability to work without direct supervision with a high degree of discipline and self-direction
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
    • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships across multiple teams
    • Excellent communication skills in writing, editing, presentation creation and delivery, and verbal communication, all with extreme attention to detail and accuracy; samples of work are a plus
    • Prior experience delivering training to sales teams with the ability to deliver training both in person and live via the internet
    • Occasionally work outside of business hours, early and late, to collaborate with key Red Hat’s and partner associates in various international locations
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including internationally
    • Excellent working and applied knowledge of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience in a quota-bearing sales role in addition to sales enablement experience is a plus
