    Job summary

    Red Hat is looking for a Business Strategy Consultant to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you’ll become part of Red Hat's Corporate Strategy function and will work directly with Red Hat’s business executives to define, analyze, and shape strategic direction. You will deliver creative but pragmatic solutions with analytical thoroughness to senior executives and work on high profile initiatives that help Red Hat deliver above-market growth. Your team will focus its energy on leading the underlying strategy of the organization.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Gain exposure at the highest levels of the organization
    • Build relationships and influence leaders in all areas of the company
    • Quickly grasp and articulate a wide range of organizational and technical concepts
    • Translate a vision or high-level problem statement into implementation

    Required skills

    • 3-5 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm in IT or related industry or experience with business strategy, corporate strategy, corporate development, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A), preferably within a publicly-held corporation
    • Outstanding academic credentials; Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
    • Exceptional project management, facilitation, and leadership skills
    • Ability to easily integrate in a collaborative team environment
    • Solid executive-level presentation skills including storyboarding, development, and delivery
    • Excellent relationship-building skills, with outstanding ability to interface well with individuals of varying levels and backgrounds
    • Extraordinary analytical ability and business insight
    • Highly collaborative mindset
    • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
