    Job summary

    The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for a Senior Ecosystem Partner Manager to join us in Boston, MA or remotely in the U.S. In this role, you will represent our team with our partners. You'll work with assigned partners on enabling Red Hat’s solutions portfolio. You'll work closely with our partners' engineering offering leads to promote the enablement of their offerings across all Red Hat’s portfolio releases. As a Senior Ecosystem Partner Manager, you will also be responsible for managing partner requirements and escalations throughout the release process. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Work with assigned partners
    • Organize and guide all ongoing partner technical engagements
    • Maintain a good technical working knowledge of your assigned partners' solutions, including the needs of and roadmaps for their offerings
    • Host partner engineering conference calls across various product divisions within partner organizations as needed
    • Work on partner technical escalations with the Red Hat Engineering team
    • Maintain partner enablement dashboards
    • Successfully follow through on all engineering escalations around feature requests, exception requests, or mutual customer issues

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
    • Good knowledge of AMD64 and Intel 64 architectures
    • Familiarity with the Linux container competitive market landscape
    • Motivated and able to learn quickly; excellent problem-solving skills
    • Ability to assess partner requests while taking into account Red Hat's goals, requirements, and strategic directions
    • Demonstrated leadership experience working with and guiding cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging environment
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%
    • Direct experience with OpenShift or OpenStack technologies is a big plus


    The following are considered a plus:

     

    • Practical experience with various programming languages and server architectures
    • Experience with the open source development model
    • Experience working with a networking company
