    Job summary

    The Red Hat Federal Solutions Architecture team is looking for a Senior Manager to join us in Washington, D.C. In this role, you’ll manage a team of solutions architects responsible for positioning Red Hat’s solutions and services to our customers and partners. You'll collaborate with sales management and the Consulting, Engineering, and Support teams to meet the outlined company sales objectives. You'll assist your team in developing and delivering business-facing messaging on technical subjects.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Lead the Solutions Architecture team to support Red Hat's sales efforts
    • Support the Sales team with recommendations to develop and implement complex solutions to achieve sales quotas
    • Meet revenue goals for product subscriptions, services, and training
    • Perform hiring and talent evaluation
    • Manage solutions architect alignments to support sales
    • Constant focus on improvement and enablement of solutions architects
    • Spend time in the territory with sales teams

    Required skills

    • 10+ years of experience working in IT; experience as a solutions architect manager and a solutions architect with demonstrated record of presales
    • Federal Department of Defense (DoD) sales or equivalent experience with enterprise accounts
    • Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs
    • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
    • Record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations
    • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%
