Marketing Program Manager

The Red Hat North America (NA) Public Sector Marketing team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Program Manager with a proven record of developing and implementing successful demand generation programs targeting the NA public sector market to join us in Mclean, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of content creation, awareness, expertise and vision, and demand generation programs for Red Hat’s Cloud Native Applications program, managing new contacts, leads, and pipeline for the associated product set. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams like business units, global demand center, corporate marketing, and NA public sector sales and sales specialists, as well as solid working relationships with public sector media outlets and publications.

• Create and deliver integrated marketing campaigns targeting the NA Public Sector market to increase demand for the global Cloud Native Applications go-to-market program and associated products and services 
• Act as a liaison between Sales and the corporate marketing and support teams to ensure that messaging and campaigns speak to specific Public Sector market trends, mandates, and unique issues
• Coordinate and deliver customer-centric content, awareness, and thought leadership materials, including fulfillment and measurement in market 
• Effectively manage marketing programs budget
• Create campaign tactic and offer IDs in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to ensure proper lead import, nurture, and tracking
• Measure success of programs via analytics and reporting, working closely with the NA Field Marketing Strategy and Insights team 

• 5-7 years marketing experience, preferably in the technology field; public sector market experience is a big plus
• Proven track record of driving campaign and marketing program results 
• Experience with SFDC and general lead management processes
• Experience working with outside agencies or tech industry media partners to deliver campaigns
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and creativity 
• Bachelor's degree; graduate degree is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
