Red Hat is looking for a Principal Architect to join the Information Technology (IT) team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting the continued evolution of our next-gen, cloud-native application deployment environment, operating on OpenShift technologies. You'll need to have the highest level of technical expertise to manage the overall technical design of our mission-critical OpenShift clusters and ancillary services. You will play a key role in setting the strategic direction of our internal offerings, including partnering with other architects and technical subject-matter-experts to ensure that we’re motivating material improvements in development teams’ day-to-day experiences across an ecosystem of connected and increasingly self-service solutions.
As a Principal Architect, you will serve as a senior member of technical associates responsible for the long-term health of our platform and play a leading role devising appropriate platform governance policies and partnering with the delivery teams from planning through delivery to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards. You will be the technical subject matter expert on the corporate Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) leadership team.You will serve as an internal advocate for and champion of cloud-native architectures, helping application teams as a consultant when requested and supporting customer-reference programs that help Red Hat’s customers understand how we successfully apply our own technologies in-house.
